I am frequently referred to as "Joe Dirt" and "Bon Jovi". I also have been called "Elvis" and "Pat Benetar". Pretty funny stuff.

I think this topic is regardz to insultz you've recieved for being glam,I usually just get called a freak or a faggot most of the time worst one was when someone called me a goth. Anyone who stepz up in my face bout the way i look usually ended looking like someone famous The Elephant Man :p

I get the goth thing all the time lol, they have no concept of the word! Personally im a bit of a mix up on the way i dress. i mix the glam, punk and maybe a tiny bit of goth (though i usually deny that one more) looks and came up with me i guess. It doesnt really mater too me about how other people expect me to look as long as i like what im wearing.

my son calls his look "skater" but it's actually very emo.
I don't label my look cause it's not like anyone else.

I get called Paul Stanley/Slash/Kirk Hammett in that order.

Then on the other hand I get called Ronnie Dio?? I never quite understand that one...?

it saddens me to see that some of you are being called "freaks and faggots" just for being yourself and not selling out to look like everyone else. people in the world today are cruel, and i think that people who go out of their way to make others feel bad have issues of their own that they should really start working on. dress how you want, it's how you express yourself and there's nothing wrong with that!

The nice ones say Twiggy or Liza Minelli, which I find flattering..
The nasty ones say "dyke", "lezzo", etc. However, when I don't straighten my hair, I look like I could easily be a member of Split Enz
