So what is your favorite fake 80's/90's band from a movie? My favorite would have to be Wyld Stallyns from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

I dunno if it counts, but I love Limozeen from Homestar Runner. Which is more like.. early 2000s webtoon rather than 80s/90s movie.

ps. I just found out that their song "Because it's Midnite" is in Guitar Hero... the dirty, evil, bastards. *doesn't like guitar hero*

ooh....it's a cross between 2 bands already mentioned...Spinal Tap and Wyld Stallyns...but i'm gonna have to lean toward Keanu.

I agree...who wouldn't lean towards Keanu!?!?! lol they were so cute and hilarious in the bill & Ted movies...Keanu plays a really good goofball surfer dude...Alex Winter does too!

Wayne's World, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure which I watched in theater when it came out, "The Bigger the Cushion the Better the Pushing!" LOL Spinal Tap is the ultimate glam movie, the Labryinth with David Bowie dressed all up in Glam metal get up, a cross between a rock star and evil Sorcerer. How about Rock n' Roll Nightmare? Funny great horror glam musical movie about a steroid, viking lead singing fighting a devil in a abandoned farm house recording studio and of course, Rocky Horror Picture Show!

I agree! I love Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure...but I always thought Bogus Journey was funnier! I love both of the Waynes world movies and Spinal Tap is hilarious! I also like Rocky horror picture show too!

Oh yeah I forgot about Sammi Curr, The dude fucking rocked man! The sad thing is, I got my look from him. Another pretty cool one was The Lone Rangers from Airheads. Those guys were awsome! I want to actually try to get a record deal the same way the did in the movie. That way if my band never writes a good hit or some thing,We would still be the crazyest mother fuckers out there.
