We have very high winds here, and cold enough to make penguins complain. Every time I got to try and nap, the damn dog went off barking.....

Anyone dealing with high winds, serious cold, and snow?

(I don't want to go out later..........)

I just did my hair and makeup.... had to spray part of my hair in place, or it won't stay in that wind out there.

Its real windy and cold here....in Atlantic City...I'm all painted but I did not bother straightening my hair.

I wish I had long extension cords (if they even exist) for my laptop cables....its too stressful being in my room with the man upstairs making so much noise,I'm afraid I'm gonna kill him.....grrrrrr

Down here it's the middle of summer. Which really shits me, 'cause I straighten my hair.
sweaty forehead + fringe = curly fringe = very unhappy SickThing.
Also, in my Extension Production class we've started "boot camp" as Mr Holmes calls it. My legs are killing me and doing all that crap during summer isn't pleasant. When my brother told me Mr Holmes was a Nazi, I thought he was exaggerating. And, well, now I know he wasn't. We even do this thing called "Nazi Jumps"! It's insane. But I know by the end of it, it'll all be worth it.

Okay, enough rambling from me.

It's in the general forum. I believe it clearly says "The place where you can come and post about anything!" Doesn't really have to be glam-related.

I nearly froze to death just putting some dvd's in the mail.

Wrapped up in leather jeans, shirt, leather jacket, denim vest over that, and a coat, and I still felt like I was being punished for something.

Windy City- Sweet...as a weather related song...although that would only be the title, cos the song means something else...

i also wish i'd never mentioned it not actually snowing yet...as it is now creeping in..and the cold is v. v. v. bitter...i looked like Quinn the fucking eskimo in my parka fighting back the wind.

The kind of weather you guys are describing is shocking, it never gets that cold in Queensland (I've never seen real snow. Ever.) And I'm not all that tolerant to extremely cold weather, I've frozen my arse off in NSW, so traveling any further south would be lethal.

okay...book me on a flight to Queensland then...cos it just went sub-zero...we got fire and radiators runnin' through the house and it still feels like the arctic circle..

Bloody cold here, have to work in it as well.
Winds blow some of my ridge tiles off, bleeding weather.
Roll 2009 when I go back to Florida for me holidays.
Always hot there.
