Would be glad to help you out, but the closest I've been to Scotland is watching Braveheart!

I am William Wallace, and before me, I see a whole ARMY of my countrymen here to battle the English. Ay, fight and you may die, run and you'll live. At least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives.... but they'll never take our FREEDOM!!

One of my most fav movies! I'm Irish and Native American, but the Scotts hold a special place in my heart!

Don't worry Kayla, I went off topic. The original was looking for places to party in Scotland. I'll get out of here and let to topic return to where it was. -- Lori

    Clubs:
    Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun- Cathouse (Union Street)
    Saturday Nights- Classic Grand
    Sunday Nights- ABC2 (Sauchiehall Street)
Tuesday Nights- Revolution (Queen Margarets Union)

    Bars:
    Catwalk (Union Street)
    Barfly (down by the clyde)
Rockers (under the dingy wee bridge near the clyde)
    Solid Rock (Hope Street)
    Firewater (Sauchiehall Street)
    Nice n' Sleazy (Sauchiehall Street)
    Rufus T Firefly (Hope Street)
    Crowbar (Hope Street)

Theirs other clubs that do special nights n' awl its just I cant remember what does what. I'll up date this next time I go.

Theirs lots of rock places in glasgow, but some are more aimed at the emo scene etc etc. For a rock n’ roll packed night I would defo recommend this more than anything else:

Hit up Catwalk (bar) to begin with next to the union street central station exit then move onto Cathouse (club) which is at the bottom of the same street just across from McDonalds, stay on the first floor for all the classics.

Also the last Sunday of every month in Cathouse theirs a special night "Slide It In" which is specifacly glam, last time they had pole dancing etc etc

The Dollhouse is also really good, live music, burlesque etc etc.
