HA! HA! I posted this topic because I came across a picture of my uncle Shawn RIP and his Kiss cover band from the 70's all glammed up. They used to play the local high school all the time and my uncle was a big rocker, he was a star quarter back on his high school football team to boot! My dad who played in hard rock bands in the 70's and was in a glam metal band in the 80's called Crucial Mercy used to fill his mouth with light fluid and spit flame with a lighter like Gene Simmons. I was just wondering if anybody had pics of themselves at concerts or decked out in glam garb. I hope to post some of myself soon, I dress rocker whenever I am not working.

I am glad you guys enjoy the pic. My uncle is on the far left as Peter Criss and the other three guys are my dad and uncle's buddies they mainly played the high school and some of the bars my grandpa frequented in my hometown, there isn't much in my hometown. My uncle was a huge rocker of course he listened to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Pink Floyd and the like but he also listened to the Runaways, David Bowie, Kiss, Alice Cooper etc. My grandparents were pretty cool about it except for my grandma who thought most of it was too loud and weird but she let them listen to it and play their instruments. My grandpa never had a problem with it, in fact he used to listen to Kiss, Pink Floyd etc. in his pick up truck when he'd be working on power lines or going fishing. In the 50's in high school my grandpa had hair like James Dean, wore a leather jacket, smoked cigarettes, got into fights, listened to rock n' roll and rockabilly so I have rocker in my blood. My uncle passed away not long ago, he was just riding his bike like he normally did and his heart just gave out. He was almost too young for that too happen but he listened to rock through his whole life. RIP.

i'm very sorry for your uncle,but surely he was a great!!
It's really a wonderful picture,maybe my father or my uncle had had a Kiss tribute band! (maybe not Kiss, but my father listened Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix)
Speaking about Kiss, I have a photo of me like Paul(rather embarrassing) of the concert they did in May in Milan ...simply wonderful!anyway...ta-daaaah!!!!
