I was wondering if there are any Rock and roll magazine subscriptions out there that are actually true to the 80s music? Rolling stones is a no , They got into politics and everything....Jesus Christ they put Jonas brothers on the cover , Wtf?!

I asked my mom about it...she used to read a lot of metal magazines like that...but she can't remember them and she said there probably aren't any out there any more that are really true to the music...Does anyone know?

Humm, there used to be Circus, Hit Parader, Rip magazine but they are all kinda shut down, and Kerrang was quite good but they are now talkin' about crappy bands...
I usually read magazine about metal, i buy them when there's at least two good glam articles :) (since they're in french, i don't think you wanna now their names ^^)

In australia we get one called classic rock. Its pretty good just check out who the articles are on.

Most often they will have bands similar to who ever is on the cover. So if motley crue are on the cover there will be fair bit on hard rock/glam but if its someone like lynyrd skynyrd it will mostly be on southern rock ect.

Got one with "sons of guns" cd for a bit piece they did on guns and roses/velvet revolver which had a few good bands on it.

Come to think of it i think its a uk magazine since all the gig ads are for the uk :P
