    I CANT BELIEVE THE MIGHTY WRATHCHILD DOES NOT HAVE A MENTION ON HERE YET
    THE BAND THAT STARTED THE USE OF THE WORD GLAM METAL
    THEY WERE ONE OF THE MOST UNDERESTIMATED BANDS OF THEIR TIME
    TWO SPIN OFFS FROM THIS AWESOME BAND NOW EXIST

    Using youtubes default embed code doesn't work here.

    The URL to Stakk Attakk looks like this :

    But may I remind you and Admin that I have mentioned Wrathchild on numerous occasions, as they are one of my all time favorite bands! I'm pretty sure that Starr76 has mentioned them also.

    I hear you, Merchenstein, I myself am in involved in 3 different musical projects and I know all about the workload!

    What I meant was will you be taking on a musical role, or will you be involved in production as you were with the original Wrathchild in the early days?

    Poisonfan5: Take my advice too, check out Wrathchild!! They were -and no doubt will be again - fucking awesome!!!

    Although, I have never seen the back catalogue on CD, I only have the old vinyl (which includes(may I add for boasting points)the picture disc of Stakk Attakk and the pink vinyl edition of 'The Biz Suxx'! :-D

    Merchenstein, any hints on where to get Cd or digital downloads?

    I'll be logging onto Amazon, then!! AND the DVD, excellent!!(I assume you mean the live video?)I remember 20 years ago looking everywhere around Melbourne for the video with no suucess(there was no ebay or amazon then, LOL). I've been wanting to see that for years.

    I hope Rocky has finally got all the legals sorted out, so if I buy it he will get his slice of the pie!!

    That's an interesting point for discussion. And for Merchenstein to give us some trivia (which I love!!)...

    Did Maiden & Wrathchild cross paths and play the same circuits in the early days? Wer e they mates? Did they respect each other? Or were they rivals due to the difference in styles and image?

    Rocky & Marc formed Wrathchild in 1980, right?
    Maiden recorded their song Wrathchild in '81, so were they playing it live during '80?

    Did Rocky hear Maiden playing it and think 'hey, that would be a great name for a band'?

    Or did Steve Harris see Wratchild play or maybe see a gig poster or flier, and think 'hey, that would make a great title for a song?

    Merchenstein...???

    ha..it was my sisters i think...i know it definitely came with a promotion on quite a large purchase of Fosters...but it always looked more like a dress on her...and she got fed up of that...so i got it by default...but i like Tees that advertise....they're my faves after my Sweet shirt.

    i guess i am getting into "the Aussie thing"...i guess i'll be watching Neighbours and Home and Away next. :wink:
