Winger have their place in the grand scene of things, but not the staying power of Bon Jovi.

    "Winger DESTROYS Bon Jovi."

I second that motion! Sorry but its true, I just could not see the two together and then end up picking Mr Jovi there...that just seems wrong in so many ways.

Slippery When Wet is a hella cool album though. And as a frontman Jon's got loads of charisma.

That being said, I do love Winger. As far as ballads go I like "Headed for a..." but my favorite Winger ballad would be "Miles away". I even love their third album "Pull" which to my mind is criminally underrated!

Don't know if they should still perform "Seventeen" though? There's just something awfully wrong about guys pushing 40 singing about a 17-year-old girl that way.

1.I respect the technicality of winger 2.reb beach can shred awesome solos 3.rod morgensteins kit is badass and he plays left handed and 4.rod morgenstein designed the tool that I can't live without when recording or practicing by myself, and that is Vic Firth isolation headphones. When I discovered these,I couldn't understand y anyone would not use them.they're great for recording.I encourage any musician whether ur a drummer or not to pick these up.60 bucks, but its worth it cuz it saves ur ears the damage.I prolly would be deaf rite now had I not bought them

Winger take a load of shit on this site but I'm sticking to my guns. I prefer 'em any day over Bon Jovi when it comes to pop metal.

Winger are great. Pull is a amazing album, and Reb Beach is one of the most underated guitarist ever.

I STILL haven't picked up Karma in fear of it sounding similar to Winger IV,which I thought was way too heavy and distorted.but one of these days ill risk picking it up

i read about the Karma album in Classic Rock magazine,

the review says the band go back to the basics of the earlier albums and it is nothing like Winger IV

it even says in the review "It's like grunge never happened" thats a good sign! :D

    Winger>>>>>Bon Jovi

Like the Op already said, they destroy Bon Jovi.

First off, Reb Beach is one of the greatest guitarist known to men, up there with Steve Vai.

While Kip is one of the better rock vocalists and lyricists in the genre.

Karma was stunning, the best album of 09 but then again I don't waste my time with modern crap.

I would love to see them live but it'll be a big drive for me.
