I have to say, in my short 15 years of life, I have yet to hear a better band than Wildside. These guys were probably one of the most underrated glam/hair bands of all time, and above any band, above any genre, death metal, metal, country, etc., I will always treasure this band as my favorite of all time. Enjoy, if you have heard of this band, consider yourself lucky. They came when the grunge scene came about, and sold very few records. Fuck grunge.

I totally agree with you. These guys came out when the whole grunge thing was just starting to take hold and never got the credit they deserved. Their one and only album was actually really good. They put out another one called The wasted years, it's a bunch of demo tracks and some live stuff. Not bad.

would have ruled the 80's metal scene w/out a doubt if they had appeared a few years earlier. one of the top 5 80's metal albums, even though most have never even heard of it

Yeah grundge fucked over a lot of great bands like WildSide and Sleeze Beez. I mean they write music that was happy in a sense where as grundge was just so fucking depressing(kinda like music now a days).

WILDSIDE ROCKED! They used to come through Chicago every year and I got to see them twice. I still have the photos I took. They rocked THE THIRSTY WHALE (no longer there) and had a strong following of fans. The only thing that stopped them from being internationally famous super stars was the timing. They were so strong live back in the early to mid 90's that I've never forgot them and won't. I bought there C.D.'s, talked to Drew and wish they were still on tour.
