The first concert I went to was Van Halen. There was 6 of us that went, and one person waited all night for tickets so we ended up on the main floor about 6 rows back. Amazing show, but I didn't think I'd ever be able to hear again.

My first concert was Thin Lizzy.

They were officially a 5 piece at the time having added Darren Wharton on keyboards. Snowy White on guitar having replaced Gary Moore who replaced Brian Robertson.

During their heyday, Thin Lizzy adopted alot of glam elements into their show & image.

The show was at the Capitol Theater and it was 1980. It was in the transitional days between glam rock & glam metal. Their image was kinda confused -

One of the ULTIMATE 70's glam bands that people often forget are a true exponent of the genre:

    ABBA in '77

Yeah, I'd go along with that. Abba and The Bay City Rollers defined glam pop

    Abba

The Bjorn guy never looked comfortable to me and strummed his electric guitar like it was an acoustic.

Mine of course was Twisted Sister. I can barely remember it, I remember being deaf for 3 days afterwards.

My first concert was The Guess Who in 1971(?). But they weren’t glam. Not even close. My first glam concert was a few years and many concerts later. That one was Alice Cooper.

Hey Glam Mogul - but did you ever check out the array of guitars Bjorn used to use? Awesome designs!

The only rad guitar I've seen Bjorn use was the one he used on the clip of Ring! Ring! (why dontcha give me a call), you know the song? It was a star shaped thing, probably could only be played standing up LOL.

Other than that, all I've seen him use is stock Gibsons, a tele and ovation electrics.

My first concert was Van Halen. David Lee Roth. He was (still is) an amazing frontman.

My first concert was AC/DC. I was only 8 years old and had the time of my life. When they shot off the cannons in For Those About to Rock, I was lifted about 4 inches off the ground. We later found out that that little stunt had cracked the foundation of the civic center and the band was never allowed to play there again. WTF? I'm taking my 5 yr. old to her first show in March. Kid Rock.

My first concert should have been to see The sweet about 1974 cos I had a ticket, but they had to cancel the gig cos the local council banned them.

My first actual concert was Judas Priest in 1978 at Newcastle City Hall at about the time they had a hit with Take On All The World.
