Dee is probably one of the greatest frontmen of all time especially in heavy metal.

Gotta love Dee! He was awesome taking on Tipper and the PMRC like he did. I think we should all dedicate this one to Tipper in his name.

Dee has one powerfull voice and his style is insane. He is definitely one of my favourite front men.

saw them on The Tube in 81, was too young to understand, but remembered thinking 'clever name' and liking the music.
I got the demo Rough Cutts when it came out, and saw them on Friday Night Live, and have loved them ever since.
Dee looks great and they still put on a hell of a show. Hands down the best gigs I have ever been to, were when I saw them at The Rock & Blues Custom Show 2004, and then at The Astoria the next day.

Exactly, they were meant to be cheesy and that was the fun of it! Do you guys remember thier cameo appearance in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure"?

I've got the Widowmaker album, cool version of Am I Evil.
I would have liked to have heard Desperado but the album was never officially released, and I haven't been able to track down the 2006 release 'Ace' - what a line up Dee (legend) Bernie Torme (legend) Clive Burr (ex Iron Maiden legend) and Marc Russell (session legend).

Love Twisted Sister. It was the very first metal band I got into at the tender age of seven. My mom hated Dee Snider and his cross dressing, heathenish, "devil worshiping" ways. So you can imagine what happened when she caught me putting on lip stick, ripping up my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle T shirt and cutting up my jeans. She wanted to take me to a Christian therapist but my dad talked her out of it. Love Dee! I love "House of Hair" and he keeps the fire lit for real Rock!

I love them, I love them, I love them! My uncle's (My mother's sister's husband) sister actually manages Dee, I hear he's a sweetie pie. Given the opportunity I'd screw his brains out... out of respect

Twisted Sister's fucking awesome! They were actually the first "Glam" band I ever listened to. On their website, I remember reading something about Dee saying "We shouldn't be called 'Glam' because it's short for glamorous. We should be called 'Hid' because we're hideous." Not an exact quote...

Twisted Sister in my mind was the greatest ever glam band they were unique and rocked hard and anybody who is smarter than the government (Dee Snider) is a true rockstar in my mind.

There is nothing more fun that jamming to some TS on the way to work in the morning. I was not motivated to go in seeing as later today I have to leave for a doc's appt, but music does tend to sooth my soul, even folks like these. :)

I'm not sure of the soul soothing ability of Twisted Sister, but they can definitely rock it out. And ya gotta love Dee Snyder. Even when he tried to do Gone Country, he was still a rocker.

Dee Snyder is a very scary little man sometimes, maybe not so little but you know he could in one sense be a scary man and in another sense I could see him being a very "normal" person outside of all that hair and craziness.

Could you imagine the stick they'd get if they were a new band around now? No one would understand why they were dressed like that!
I'm not entirely sure how i discovered TS, but all I know is that I love them as their music is amazing!!
