I watch How I Met Your Mother,and there's an episode where there's a new bartender,and they play Warrant's Cherry Pie in that clip.and there was a commercial the other day I saw for the detergent Gain,and Warrant's Heaven was playing.warrant is gettin some love lately

In Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back goes Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine when Jay sees Justice (Shannon Elizabeth).

In one Gossip Girl episode, two girls were playing Guitar Hero and one of them wanted to play Cherry Pie. (The script was such that she didn't, but reaction on mentioning the song was bad.)

The old cartoon show "My Dad The Rockstar" was a show about a kid with a father known as a fire breathing rockstar by the name "RockZilla", his image was mainly based on Gene Simmons of KISS.
Does anyone else remember that show? Used to be quite fun to watch.

it mustve been b4 mytime and poisoned this is juts about tv shows because i think theres a thread aboutmovies with glam tunes already haha...theres one episode of trailer park boys in season were bubbles is alex lifesons guitar tech the song is closer to the heart and the episode is of the same name...and theres one is season 7 where sebastian back is a model train world champion and it features his song love is a bitch slap

The Crue preformed in one episode of Bones, they played Dr. Feelgood. I even downloaded it from YouTube, but now I can't find it there.

I'm pretty sure KISS has appeared in Scooby Doo and some newer cartoons too.

Also, did anyone notice that one of the guys in the Tron movie looked just like David Bowie?

yes!! i remember that cartoon, it was so hilarious, i almost pee my self laughtin' cuz mr.zilla invited somebody to his back stage roomin or someth like that and he told the guy to feel free to put himself Comfortable and to take some to eat if likes, then the guy just grabs a tiny chocolate mint ball, then mr. zilla went mad like "NO0O0ooooo!! and cried as hard as a 6 month baby, n' thats all i remember cuz i was rollin' in the floor laughing
i allways thought his name was cockzilla, but his name is bob zilla isn't he?

Also, I'm surprised no one has said Beavis and Butthead yet. I'd think that counts. They always have the AC/DC shirts, the kid next door has the Winger shirt, and all the music videos they watch.

Another one I've noticed is that Ace Frehley is very briefly portrayed in a Spongebob episode (I still watch kids cartoons - weird, I know) Spongebob makes an army out of sand on the beach and one of them looks just like Ace Frehley.

My friend downloaded all the episodes recently, and gave them to me. I've watched four seasons so far, and they had lots of musicians mentioned and hosted. Alice Cooper, KISS, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent.
