I didn't see this band on this topic anywhere, if I missed it go ahead and delete it. If not all of you should check out these guys. These guys are fucking hilarious, their good musicians, a awesome band, they kick ass, their from LA, their glam and sleaze in the highest tradition and yes their new! Check out their song "Death to All But Metal"! The songs contain lyrics like "Dr. Dre can suck on my nuts" and "Pa Pa Roach looks like those douches who hang out at the mall" but I won't ruin the whole song for you. It is a clarion call (albeit tongue and cheek, fucking laugh until you cry) for all us glam rockers. Formerly known as Metal Skool, go to their myspace page and check out the above song along with the others posted which are awesome. Here is the link http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=345080573 you need to be logged in to a myspace account to view their page as they don't have a official website. You can try cut and paste or do a search on myspace.

Now I have never heard of Steel Panther before, but after reading your post, I feel that I will need to be changing that all as soon as possible. Do they have an official site or anywhere that I can read more about them?

Actually dude they don't have a official web site. As I said above in my post they only have a myspace page but I have a youtube of the song "Death to All But Metal", and their supposedly releasing a album called "Time to Let the Cat Out of the Cage", sometime in June of '09. Anyways here is the video.

Yeah I know, my friend told me about them and I went to their myspace page. I listened to that song "Death To All But Metal" I was eating a cookie and that thing exploded out of my mouth. That song had me laughing so hard I was crying, and on top of it all their great musicians. My friend lives down in Southern California in LA, they play the Key Club every week. He said they do their own stuff but they do alot of covers, 80's stuff of course, I want to check them out when I am down that way. Can't wait for their new album!

Haha : D I was listening to that "community property" the whole day yesterday. I started when I was at school, and continued when I came home. That song is so funny. "Stripper girl" is cool too : D But they have removed it from their myspace :/ But I think both of them are on their new album, so Im looking forward to that : D

    Oh wow, ha ha ha!

Those are some of the most ridiciously over the top and immature lyrics that I have heard in a long time, and they still practically make me want to sing along. Their singer also has a great voice, and I definitely want to hear more stuff by them. Awesome band!

Hybelkanin "Community Property" and "Stripper girl" are great songs! Stillrocking I know, when I was listening to their music I had the same reaction, at work I found myself repeating their songs and laughing my ass off while people looked on thinking I was insane. When they were Metal Skool they released one album called "Hole Patrol" but it is now out of print and is fetching to about 50 bucks on ebay. Screw that! Maybe some person has it for a download or something, anyways I have a public link to view their myspace page, you don't even have to be a member. Here it is: http://www.myspace.com/steelpantherkicksass. Enjoy!

I will take a look at their Myspace page, and see what songs and info that I can find on it. And hey, please let me know if you ever find their album for sale anywhere.

Everyone should have heard of these guys. If anyone remembers the Discover card commercial from a few years back, their was a group of guys that did the Love Rocket song. The Band was called Danger Kitty, that is Steel Panther. They were also known as Metal Skool like someone posted above.

yeah they are one of the only great bands out now a days, they said something about wanting to bring back glam and try to make it mainstream again and i would love to see that happen. Laso if you look at they'er singer, doesn't he reslemble the dude from the wrester?
