It's a good album for sure! but i still have a doubt when it comes to steel panther. It's one big FAKE and that makes the music less believable and serious. Why would you make a joke out of it to be glam. Don't they dare to be serious glamband?

How is it Fake? They not pretending to be anything but a fun Rock n Roll band who dont take themselves seriously, therefore, the music is not serious, nor is it meant to be. They're not trying to make it a joke to be glam, they're being entertainers. Its called having fun.

I want the 80's to last forever!

I like the way you put that Jezzy. Never thought of it that way. Very good insight. Regardless though, the new album kicks ass!

I love Steel Panther's new album, but I'm rather disappointed as well. I just don't see that Balls Out really lives up to the hype, and it doesn't even come close to Feel The Steel. Ehh, in my humble opinion anyway.

Haha i know what having fun is man, chillax. You say what i think only you don't call them fake. If you're a band and you don't take yourself serious, and non of your fans take you serious, are you a band?
When i see steel panther i think they do it for the money. not for the music. (they probably will cause they are great musicians, but thats the first tought that comes to mind for me).
Everybody has there own upinion offcourse and i only gave mine. They also would play europe and they cancelled the show a week before with the reason: 'we could play an american festival and our american fans are more important'. Well.... then u suck as a band in my upinion. Every fan is imporant, no matter where they are.

Doing it for the money implies that they get a lot of money, truth is, they probably dont.

true, but they act like that. Thats the picture i make of steel panther when i see them in interview etc. a bunch of exagerators (or how you say that in english?)

i am rarely offended by a band, but i find that tonight i am offended by Steel Panther. i watched several of their shows from Japan. Yes, they appear to be having fun, and yes i can deal with a band that doesn't do serious music. i've not heard anything from their new album, but based on what i saw tonight and based upon the 30 second backstage videos they have up, i truly feel offended by them. To me, they epitomize everything that those of us who lived through the glam metal era in real life had to fight against.

It is a great album in my opinion. I listened to it while on the way home from a music store in my friends car. The first song we listened to is "Like Tiger Woods"

I think Steel Panther and the new album is great! To be honest it's one of my favorite bands, I just can't stop listening to their music! They're amazing! I think they're sort of like bringing glam metal back, their lyrics can be found offensive for sure, I just think they're hilarious and some stuff they say shouldn't be taken too seriously :) I also saw them live and they kicked ass! Great live performers, everyone should see them live!
