There has to be a Kix thread here... there just has to be. Anyone know if they're doing anything? They're playing Rocklahoma? Would love to see them again...

Kix were definitely one of the better bands from the 80s.

They had a bunch of great songs and I'm with metalrulesall, Blow My Fuse is my favorite

oh yeah...Kix rocks. i'm afraid i don't quite have the patience to sit andl isten to all 18 minutes or so of Blow My Fuse though.

kix are great! i have blow my fuse on cassette lol i carry this semi portable cassette player to school and rock in the halls, ha its great, my friends are like ryan butt rock sucks, and i have to say its quit calling it butt rock!

KIX!!!!!!!!!! hell yea dude they're from my hometown....tbey do a reunion tour here every year....i got to meet them and get Steve Whitman's autograph. It makes me feel proud that someone from good ol' hagerstown could make it in music...that inspires me to change the face of music for sure. but idk wat they're doing at the moment...i just see them once every year....they usually do shit on the east coast....check out Funny money....thats got some of the original members of Kix, they kick ass

I LOVE don't close your eyes too, I remember seeing the video as a teenager thinking "couldnt they get a better looking chick for thier video??" LOL
Also did anyone else notice in the song "Girl Money" how much the vocals sound like AC/DC???

Kix are very ACDC-like. Their riffs sound a lot like they were written by Angus Young. There's a song on the "Blow My Fuse" album where the riff sounds a lot like the one in You Shook Me All Night Long. I just can't remember which track it is.

yeh i have met steve whiteman before cause he lives like 10 min from my house in hagerstown and believe it or not he came to my house once cause he was a childhood friend of my dad and my band had the enjoyment of opening up for him in westminister this february in a lil concert they played...and u should check out funnymoney also...they KICKASS

Cool Vid! I've got a lot of Kix on my computer, but, I think my favorite of theirs will always be Don't Close Your Eyes. I've a close friend that suffers from depression and my friend and I use that song as a reminder and a link between us that someone cares. I know that sounds a bit silly, but listening to it can always bring each of us back up.

yeh guys KIX is one of my 3 fav 80's bands(kix,motley crue, and poison).i would have to say my favorite kix songs are dont close your eyes, blow my fuse, and cold blood. they are fucking amazing!!!i would like to see them round here(PA and marlyland)more but every show they play round here you gotta be 18 or older just to get in! lmfao i cant wait to be able to play beside kix again.guys that was one of my memories that i will cherish forever. it was still a small show but kickass.cant believe he let a screamo band like mine open up for him =]]]
