Well, I didn't see a topic for Jani. Warrant had members come and go. It wasn't until Jani left that they quit sounding like Warrant. Back Down to One is awesome. Then there was Jabberwokky. Only have a few songs from it as he never released it. His newest release is with Saints of the Underground. Jani, Keri Kelli, Bobby Blotzer, and Robbie Crane. I don't think that they plan to tour since he has reunited with Warrant. So, the lack of tour sucks, but Warrant is finally back. No one can say he isn't talented. He writes, sings, does keys, drums, and guitar. He is also a very nice guy. I've never met him personally, but we have talked a lot on myspace. He has really gotten himself back together. I think that we will see some great things in the coming years. He does some awesome writing. I can't wait to see what he and the down boys put out this coming year. Hope I don't sound like a ga-ga fan, I just can't help it. Warrant/Crue were the first concert I ever got to go to. Several have aged better, but he still has that smile and those green eyes!

Jani's FUCKING AWESOME!!!Love his work with WARRANT AND SAINTS OF THE UNDERGROUND!!I'M REALLY GLAD HE IS BACK IN WARRANT THOUGH!!ONLY THING IS I SAW WARRANT LAST YEAR WITHOUT HIM!! BUT THAN AGAIN WARRANT LOVES IT HERE AND HAVE BEEN HERE AT LEAST 5 TIMES,SO MAYBE,JUST MAYBE I'LL GET TO SEE THEM THIS YEAR!!

I loved Warrant as a kid, but I never kept up with what they were doing after, *ahem* grunge hit... They were probably my last metal band before I went *ahem* punk...

Jani was a bit gorgeous, a bit too pretty!

Definitely more glam than the later incarnations.

Hey all, recently had a chance to talk to JL via e-mail. We have all seen the pics of Plain Jane the band he and Steven Sweet were originally in. Definitely the most glam look Jani ever sported. However, I had been unable to find out who the other two members of the band were. I posed the question to Mr. Lane and here is his response:

Mikki Doll-Paul Noble and Ally Katz-Al Collins. Both were Ohio guys (Paul by way of London) Al is currently married to country singer Stacey Collins and lives in Nashville.

Thanks to Dizzy for this "newest" picture of the band Plain Jane.

im his twin...its quite scary...now all my metalhead friends keep calling me jani...i got miss congeniality in a pagent and everybody yelled go jani...very embarressing

anyting worth doing is worth over doing!

Wow, I see that WARRANT has missed me here. Just a little bit of an update. If you have been to Warrant's myspace page, they have a new singer (again) Jani bailed on the group due to pressures from touring. Last I heard, he was trying rehab again. The tour with him had a few good shows, but left much to be desired at many of them. Warrant is playing in my area at the end of the month with RATT and DOKKEN. But, they are charging $30 to $75 per ticket, and no one under 18 is allowed. I'd love to go, but it is an experience that I want to share with my daughter. So, I guess this is one concert that Mama Bear won't be going to.
