It always depends on my mood and what I'm doing. Right now, I have Sirius Hits on the radio because I'm making a music cd for my kids to listen to on our road trip this weekend. I want the latest hot songs for them.

I'm a massive fan of the 80s as that's the decade I spent as a teenager. I like most of the music from that era. The list is endless but favourites include Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, Kim Wilde, Eighth Wonder, T'Pau...

I also like Metal/Industrial/Goth from 1985 to 1995 including Slayer, Anthrax, Fear Factory, Front Line Assembly, The Cure and All About Eve.

I listen to Classic Rock a lot, fuckin Bon Scott era AC/DC is some of the best music period. I listen to the occasional Thrash Metal every once in awhile, and I listen to NWOBHM like Priest, Maiden, Thin Lizzy.

For me, its mostly Punk (The Damned, The Pistols, The MC5) Proto-Punk (Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, although they also qualify as Glam), Space Rock (Hawkwind, Gong, and the Pink Fairies although the later qualify as Proto-punk too!), and Psychadellica (I'm usually into American stuff, like Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, 13th Floor Elevators, Strawberry Alarm Clocks) and Prog Rock (Yes, The Zep, Jethro Tull) and Heavy Metal (Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Judas Priest) and old Rock and Roll (Little Richard)

Those generes all bleed in with eachother perfectly, too. Because Glam Rock took Proto-Punk, Psychadellica, Space Rock and Rock and Roll and added it to the misanthropy and the image, and created Glam Rock. Proto-punk and Rock and Roll was fused with Glam Rock and Punk came about, it ended the dying phase of 70s Glam Rock, and put an end to the ever growing-further-up-its-backside Prog Rock, and brought us right back to Rock and Roll, but much darker and just as needed! Then Punk and Heavy Metal were taken and Glam Metal was invented.

    :D

As well as that I'm a huge fan of Burlesque-era/style stuff - music by the likes of Kurt Weil, Bertold Brecht and later the fantastic Jacques Brel.

Well, when I'm not listening at glam I like to listen classic Heavy Metal like Maiden,Metallica,Judas Priest,Manowar...some Goth Rock such as The 69 Eyes,The Cult,Type O Negative,The Cure...then I like Industrial -I love excessively Rammstein and Deathstars -and whatever else makes me feel good or I send sensations, and generally whatever comes from the 80s!

    Hmm I like folk music.
Especially Acoustic/Punk/Folk like Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains.
I also have an appreciation for Goth music (not techno), doo-wop music and original 50's rock and roll, all the way to the lovely 60's Jim Morrison, Im a sucker for poetic minds as well as Elliot Smith.
