Some of you like the game(it's the closest I'll ever get to playing guitar). Some of you hate it. Regardless, you may have an opinion here...
With Guitar Hero: Van Halen(Michael Anthony won't even be a playable character...but Wolfgang VH will!?)hitting the stores soon, and Metallica's & Aerosmith's Guitar Heroes already out there, I was wondering if a glam band will ever get their own Guitar Hero game.
TWO BANDS REALISTICALLY STAND OUT AS HAVING POTENTIAL:
KISS and MOTLEY CRUE(call it favoritism).
Think of it...
With Guitar Hero: Kiss you could play as Gene, Paul, Peter, Ace AND Vinnie Vincent, Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick. You could play them with or without makeup. All the different costumes. The venues could be actual stadiums,of course, but also the "Love Gun" pillars complete w/ white-faced girls as the audience, or the ruins of the "Destroyer" album cover. They could recreate "Alive!" & "Alive II" by using live tracks to play along with. This could be a hell of a game!
Withe Guitar Hero: Motley Crue you could play as Nikki, Vince, Tommy & Mick(I doubt they would have Corabi, Castillo, or Maloney as playable characters). You could play them from "Shout At The Devil" era, "Theatre of Pain" era all the way to "Saints of Los Angeles". Possible arenas: The Carnival of Sins stage, the "Looks That Kill" & "Too Young To Fall In Love" video sets and Cruefest. The songs? You know 'em, you love 'em...
What I wish they would consider also is GUITAR HERO: GLAM GREATS. Featuring all the bands that have been neglected by the series so far like Cinderella, W.A.S.P., Dokken, Slaughter, Stryper, Great White, L.A. Guns and other songs from Ratt & Warrant! There's more to those bands than "Round and Round" & "Cherry Pie".
The video game nerd in me has spoken.
