    I guess they're called "nu" because they're basically a new-wave of glam bands.

    I like some of them, but to me the majority just sound like they're trying too hard to be Guns n Roses or someone to have any real originality.

    I just picked up The Fame Monster to see what all the fuss is about. It's not bad but isn't much different to all the other female popsters out there (to my ears), however, two songs (Speechless and Brown Eyes) could loosely be labelled as glam, they're ballads but at least that's something. Maybe one day she'll strap on a guitar and get serious.

    There is glam rock, glam metal, hair metal and sleaze rock. Anything else that pretends to be glam, is pure shit.
    Check this stuff out. This one is called Jeffree Star. I guess it's a genderbender trip like Boy George was on in the 80s.
    But please people, don't confuse this shit as glam that we dig because it fucking ain't. You won't be hearing any songs from this about partying, getting chased by the cops, getting blown by hot chicks etc.
    It makes me sick to post this but we all gotta know what crap is going on and how there are people out there that wanna ruin the thing we love.

    It makes me sick to repost this! My friend likes this guy. Glam will defintly not come back by people like him and Lady gaga or anybody like that. Glam will come back by fans of the music, who will stop at nothing to keep it alive, even if it means losing your friends who don't like glam. I got soo fucking mad at my BEST friend the other day for saying the music i like sucks.
