When I'm surfing around, sometimes I see stuff that makes me thing of glam but it really isn't glam. It's a glam inspired thing. Here's a few that I mean :

I'm sure he'd be very proud to hear that. His angle was always to look terrible. He actually claimed he shouldn't be glam metal because that implied glamorous and he was hideous. He wanted to be in hid rock.

OK I am probably stupid for posting without a photo. But I have a glam photo story. I was a huge glam rock fan when I was a kid, so was my dad and at the time my teenaged aunt was too. It was probably 1987 and I was seven years old. My aunt's 17th birthday was approaching and my mom was thinking of a unusual gift for her. My dad had a idea. My dad was in a glam band when I was a kid and my mom wasn't to keen on his career choice. She was extremely religious and didn't like the fact my dad wore make up, women's clothing and sang about sex on stage. My dad wanted to dress me, my brother and sister up as a glam band, shoot a photo of it and blow it up into a concert poster for my aunt. My mom freaked out at first, but my dad talked her into it. We did it, I got dad's guitar and mic stand, my brother the bass and my little sister was on drums. I had a pink wig on, lipstick, blush, a ripped granny dress and tore up acid washed denims. We took the photo and blew it up into a poster and my aunt loved it. My mom even got a copy and put it on her wall. I used to have negatives but my house caught fire when I lived in the mountains and everything burned. Wish I was able to post it.
