New Jersey for me please... I was heavily into Bon Jovi in 1988. Still think it's a really cool album and I still like listening to tracks like Bad Medicine, Born to be my Baby, 99 in the Shade and even the drunken blues Love for Sale that closes the album.

Second place would be Poison's Open Up... Still a kickass album. No clunkers on that one.

Good albums listed there, for sure... but I'm going to have to go with "Other". My vote goes to Cinderella's "Long Cold Winter"! Another good one that isn't listed is; Warrant's "D.R.F.S.R."

But out of the ones listed, it would be a toss-up between Bon Jovi & Poison.

And I almost forgot another favorite '88 album of mine. The album "Take Off" by British hairfarmers "After Hours". It's sort of Whitesnake meets Van Hagar meets Yngwie meets Journey. Among others it features a kickass hairmetal version of the Stones' Paint it Black.

"Odyssey" by Yngwie J Malmsteen's Rising Force springs to mind and also Winger, Cinderella's "Long Cold Winter" and The Bulletboys.
