Charlotte, that's where it all started! Right there in your country - you have heaps to choose from LOL! Oh, you allowed a few US bands to creep in there! He did say say 'British'

    here's my UK faves:
    1. SWEET
    2. WRATHCHILD
    3. SLADE
    4. T-REX
    5. THE DARKNESS (as keepers of the flame, I know they aren't true glam)
    6. GARY GLITTER

S-Man- Aniseedrock said 'unfortunately...there isn't much choice when it comes to England...'

i said unless you know where to look....which i don't....i'm clueless...as far as Endland goes i'm secluded and have never left the north....except for when my plane had to land at Birmingham....and when i went to my AS Sweet gig....I'm also very deprived as since i joined this website i realise i have a lot to learn about Glam...lol.

what i meant was when you're like me and can't think off the top of your head...and have to use Wikipedia, there isn't much to find....and according to that, they were british...which ones weren't as some had an ambiguation???

When it comes to backing vocals, there are few that have the capability to do as good as Def Leppard.

Any band or artist that Robert 'Mutt' Lang produces will have 'the best background vocals ever' It doesn't have much to do with the capability of the band as it does with the producer.

    Heya Char,

On second glance, I stand corrected, the only USA band you listed in there was KISS. The rest of it is an awesome list of British Glam!

T-Rex, Queen, Def Lep, and of course the amazing David Bowie.
Just the usual ones. British Glam Rock isn't a niche I have had the chance to explore much yet.
