I like the music of Faster Pussycat and have listen to them for a long time. They seem very counter culture, so I wouldn't think they would have a website or be connected with the Internet. I am very wrong. They actually have a MySpace site where you can listen to their latest music. Amazing.

They are an interesting band. My very first concert was them opening for David Lee Roth. Needless to say they made an impression. :D

I loved their first album. I still have it on original vinyl and still listen to it today. Songs like 'Bathroom Wall','CatHouse','Babylon' and 'Smash Alley' are brilliant in their pure simplicity and rawness.

Anything after the debut seemed a little misguided and tryhard. They should have stuck to the original formula.

Bathroom Wall was their best song. The rest seem rather ordinary to me. They sound more like early version of Social Distortion than a glam metal act, particularly their first album.

Can argue with their image though. Sure suited the heady days of 80s sleaze glam.

Hmm, I don't know who Social Distortion are.
But I can't really add to my original comment earlier. Brilliant first album (which includes 'Bathroom Wall')

    GIVE IT A LISTEN, FOLKS!

They impress me as a cross between Aerosmith and Motley Crue.

I have one album of Faster Pussycat and I really like it, their self-titled album. I just decided to buy it on amazon one day (ah, I remember those days when I had money! lol) and it turned out to be a good decision. :D

It's a shame Taime got into the whole industrial scene in the 90s. Nowadays, they just look like fuckheads.

they're a great band, but still wish the original band was still together. i liked their very raw sound that the had, which wasn't what you'd hear from some glam bands.

Faster Pussycat was my very first rock video.I was still a bleachblonde then. There wasn't any pay, and the legendary Russ Meyer directed.

I was actually the lighting standin for Taime Downe.

The song was "Don';t Change That Song".

Riki Rachtman recruited us as extras from the Cathouse.

Cathouse was still at Oskos Disco on LaCienega then.

    LMAO

Faster Pussycat's 1989 album Wake me When It's Over, to me is at the top of rock albums from that era that I absolutely love!

The first song I heard by Faster Pussycat was "Bathroom Wall", and I loved the catchy guitar bits and the vocals. The subject matter was pretty funny as well, so I immediatly looked up the music video and loved it. The story behind their name is so hilarious, I love watching the trailer to Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! I want to rent that movie so badly.

They are a really good band but know its somewhat of a mess they had the Taime Version and the Brent Muscat. Taime Downe I heard is quite a dick at Rocklahoma he wanted death on Brent Muscat just a muddy situation

    methinks,that's because you can hide a lot of toomuchboozetoomanypieswaaaynotenoughworkout-bellys behind nice,roomy black(and for that slimming)gothy shirts (robert smith ,anyone?).besides that,no idea :D
the brawl between taime and bret really saddens me.such a loss of productive energy they could have used for making new stuff and therewith,me happy...but noooo!taime rather rides the dead again horse of goth/electro mansonism.ah,well...sic transit gloria mundi.
