Anyone else here like Dirty Penny? If you like Motley Crue/Faster Pussycat type of music, you will probably like these guys. They are young and are obviously influenced by the Crue. You can find them on ITUNES also. If you check them out, let me know what you think?

I have now lost ALL respect for Dirty Penny... Their new stuff is absolutely diabolical, I dont even know what genre to stick it under except PISH
If you can bring yourself to do it, listen to "Bubblejuice" and "Cigarettes n' Whiskey n' Wild Women" and you will understand my pain!

I'm sure that's wrong, it sounds nothing like Dirty Penny! Maybe there's another band with the same name?
Dirty Penny rock, I have their S/T album and I can't stop listening to it, just full on rock'n'roll tunes.

I've seen them live, and the band my boyfriend plays bass for opened for them. They're nice guys.

I think their a good band. All they need to do is find their own style because their last album sounded too much like a Crue clone.

You should hear them live, a lot of the resemblance to crue was the production.

I think that was part of it. Johnny Lima watered them down a lot, but there was one riff that sounded exactly the same as one of the Crue songs. I can't remember which one though. No amount of production can hide that extent of unoriginality.

I stagehanded for them and diemonds just last week, they're all really great down to earth guys. They haven't lost their glam look (as some say) and they put on wicked shows. The first night they were here, a chick fell and spilled beer all over the guitarists pedals. He was pissed.
