I've seen them live. I think it was 1987. They were the Australian version of Faster Pussycat.

Always been a fan of Marc De Hugar

This is a must watch clip

Have you heared his band Dragonfly, good old school rock. I dont think they are currently active but had a great EP. He also has a project on the go by the name of Evolution X with a host of guest artists, some cool tunes.

Fucking great clip. Love the Twisted Sister take off at the beginning but the one at the end is kinda sad.

Also too, the singer suffers from a terrible case of "I wanna be Axl Rose". Nevertheless, great clip and thanks for posting it.

The Candy Harlots album is great. "Danger" is a fabulous track that should be considered a staple of classic Australian rock.

I have heard OF the band before, but I am unfortunately yet to hear any of their music really. Does anyone know if their album is still in print, or available to buy mp3's of at Itunes or something?

The Album 5 Wicked Ways is available on Ebay. I got an original pressing in exc cond for about $20 delivered. It even had the original stickers still with the album.
This album features the most succesful lineup however you can get some live stuff of the original lineup from Plastic Donut, it is a site run by the original singer Mark Easton.
Also check out the fan site Harlots Web for info about the band and what they are up to now. Marc DeHugar the original and awesome guitarist has some music by Dragonfly on myspace, check it out!
