Ya know, I really look up to Blackie and I think that he is a cool and honorable dude. He composes amazing music, and everything in his interviews seem truthful and seem to make sense, ya know? But, I hear so much smack talk on him about how he's an asshole and treats people like shit. So, I was wondering, what do you guys think of Blackie?

I'm a W.A.S.P & Guns N' Roses fan. That means Blackie can do no wrong and as much as an asshole Axl is, he's OK by me.

Been to see WASP 3 times recently but never got to meet Blackie so cant really comment on what hes like. It doesnt really matter to me what hes like though. In my eyes he is faultless! Puts on one of the best live performances every time!

I hear that Blackie puts on a great show, and he really knows what the hell hes talking about! He's fine by me, I actually think hes pretty fucking awsome!

and about Axl, hey, I dont really like his attitude, but its his life, so w/e, if your a fan, be a fan! I still like his music though. Unique voice, just not my favorite guy....

Blackie has some amazing stage antics from what I've seen through various tapings and such (never been blessed with a WASP concert ) ...Blackie's awesome, though.

Yeah, Axl's got a bad attitude, but I support him, he was a great musician back in the day, but he's honest

I don't know Blackie personally, tho I've encountered him in the Rainbow.He makes me feel like a midget,and I always wear heels there.Fucking 6 foot 5 or something?

I can't comment on Axl,I don't know him either tho everybody saw everyone at the Cathouse,and Axl dissed one of my stripper friends and I didn't think that was kewl.

I think its cool he and Nikki Sixx used to play in a band together... However Nikki left because 1, he was terrified of him 2, Blackie kept going on about how he was the general and everyone else was his soldiers.

All the same WASP is in my top 5 and I think Blackie is such a cool character.

Well, not to spout and ramble on, but that iz what I'm good at. . . . I've had just enough of the Hollywood scene remotely lately, that I've had to decide on one major factor in my musical life. I don't give a ratz ass what they are like. If I like their music, and they haven't personally offended me or killed someone that I or any good friendz were close to, then fuck it. I don't give a shit what they do. If the musicz good, I'll listen. Az far az I know, Blackie hazn't crossed any of thoze linez. So -- keep on rockin man -- you are still good in my bookz!

Blackie is IMO the Godfather of Sunset Strip Sleaze. The guy probably has the most glam/sleaze cred of all time. He replaced Johnny Thunders in the New York Dolls in 1975 ferchristsakes!

It was new years eve 1985 when I saw wasp open for kiss at the san francisco civic auditorium. Fuckin killer concert. I was long out of my kiss phase but wow .... wasp was amazing. Blackie had everyone cheering. He's a total showman and loves being the center of attention. A few years later in 1988 I remember going to the monsters of rock when it came here. Walking across the parking lot to. Candlestick park in san francisco I saw a jaguar parked. " blackies jag " was the license plate. Wasp didn't perform on the monsters of rock tour, but seeing his car, I know somewhere backstage he was partying.

I freaking love him, so I'll agree with Broncotwerp, why wold anyone care about what's he like, when he makes some of the greatest music and shows on earth.

But, if I'd think about it, he's probably just a leader, but not an asshole. I mean, Nikki is a leader too, so that's why they couldn't work together, u know. And the result is: two phenomenal bands!

P.S. For being a man, he got good marks at metal sludge penis chart. xD

I worked with this guitarist/singer at a time, acoustic stuff. And his long-time girlfriend, who was a greek supermodel, and a total lej, met WASP a couple times. She said Blackie was real quiet, but seemed to be pretty cool. I think sometimes being quiet can come off wrong, and at times make him seem like an asshole. I think he's definitely got a very inflated self opinion, hahaha, but then again so do I.

He's also a verrrrryveryvery pretty man
