Ispired by the Skyhooks poll page...
Here's a bunch of random videos of 70s Aus glam acts.
Some sublime, some ridiculous, some pop, some rock, and also a little punk and jazz!

AC/DC - Can I Sit Next To You Girl

John Paul Young - Yesterday's Hero

    Kush - Easy Street

    La Femme - Chelsea Kids

    Rabbit - Too Much Rock'n'Roll

Skyhooks - Ego Is Not A Dirty Word

Supernaut - I Like It Both Ways

William Shakespeare - My Little Angel

And these two apply, even thought they're from New Zealand:

    Split Enz - Spell Bound

Space Waltz - Out On The Street

It's great that you're promoting Australian Glam but please identify who the artists are that you're posting.

People might click on the clip and if they like it, they have no clues where to discover more of the artists music.

It would also be helpful if you posted the song name as well.

    I didn't think I'd need to.
If the viewer likes it they'd most likely check the YT page for that video and find out what they need to know.
If they don't like it, well, it's irrevelent!

    From top to bottom:
AC/DC-Can I Sit Next To You Girl
    JPY-Yesterday's Hero
    Kush-Easy Street
    Le Femme-Chelsea Kids
    Rabbit-Too Much Rock'n'Roll
Skyhooks-Ego Is Not A Dirty Word
    Supernaut-I Like It Both Ways
    William Shakespeare-My Little Angel
    Hush-C'mon We're Taking Over
    Split Enz-Spell Bound
    Space Waltz-Out On The Street

You do need to. Read up Embedding Youtube Video Policy

Thanks for the much appreciated details of the clips.

Alot of people are on download caps and aren't going to click on a 35Mb download without some information.

You should see the amount of emails we've gotten complaining about lack of clip information.

F.U.C.K. AD/DC without Bon Scott or Brian Johnson, that's fucking amazing. Never knew that before. Thanks GlennJB for posting that.

Btw, the other clips are cool except the skyhooks clip. They look like and sound like a bunch of jackasses.

Even for 70s, the clips are good. Thanks

Don't be so quick to judge them, motleyguy. They're anything but jackasses.
Okay, so Shirl does look like a tool in that Jester outfit, but forget about all that and pay attention to the lyrics. These guys wrote some of the most controversial songs, most of which were banned from the radio (eg. "You just like me cos I'm good in bed")
Shirl Strachan had an iconic voice, he sounded great (to me, at least)
And look at Red! Look how much fun he's having in that vid, I love it when he comes over to Shirl at cuts off his bell :D And have you seen the video for "Smut"?
They're funny guys. I wanna take a picture of myself holding a packet of twisties, in honor of Skyhooks.
Okay, I'm done. Enough ranting from the Red Symons fangirl for tonight. I need sleep.

I'm livin' in the 70s, I feel like I've lost my keys
I got the right day, got the wrong week
