80's Metal discussed right in The Wrestler!

    In the movie The Wrestler, Glam music is talked about in the way that makes us all happy :) and it made the film that much better.
    Mickey Rourkes character talking about 80's bands with the stripper who also is seen in a Crue shirt, and Cobain and 90's grunge put downs! :) even better!
    we even get music from Cinderella, Ratt (Or in this case Rat Attack) and Quiet Riot.
    Anyone else feel happy when glam was mentioned and heard in this film?

    never seen in.
    i usually get depressed though when glam is mentioned in films... then i go and eat a cheese and repress those thoughts.

    good movie?

    Yeah the movies pretty awesome, you dont even have to like wrestling to enjoy it!
    i think you will like how glam is mentioned in this, its finally talked about in a good way like it should be, with added anti-90's/cobain lol

    well as long as a flick is finally not bashing glam i am a happy little fucker

    it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

    Your right man! Bad ass flick, when that part came up I was cheering and clapping in the audience. I was the only one and my girlfriend was trying to hide in her seat in shame. :lol:
