I think it was about time there was a thread about this film. Sure, it wasn't a big hit but is still finding its audience, and it introduced a whole new generation to glam!
Todd went a bit overboard with the homoeroticism and style over substance but it was brilliant and unique and just what the 90s needed, killer soundtrack too (I would've prefered some underground stuff, but that's nitpicking).

    Original tracks FTW!

Fuck, dude, amazin' movie. Though not exactly spot on, the allusions and references to the few great Glam artist was interesting and entertaining. Lotta fun watchin' it, but yeah, the homoerotic relationship between Curt Wilde and Brian Slade was extremely awkward.

Haha the fun part was noticing the allusions like Maxwell Demon and the Venus in Furs (as Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars) and Curt Wild and the Rats (as the Stooges) and yea, Hella fucken fun watchin'!!

Still haven't seen this. Have to make a point to do so. I ordered the Sweet documentary "Glitz, Blitz and Hitz" through Netflix, but it didn't present much new information on the band.
