    It seems like lots of glam fans here don't mind a bit of New Wave. I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread so that you can list your New Wave favorites.

    really tough choice, its between ABC, Spandau Ballet, and Duran Duran.

    I'll go with Duran Duran since they had a bigger impact on me over the years.

    DEPECHE MODE!!!!

    Depeche Mode is like the Motley Crue of New Wave--They're in a league all their own. They are amazing in concert! That's not an easy thing to do when your band consists of 3 keyboardists and a singer. Not a boring moment live(like most of todays bands)! Dave Gahan is one of the best frontmen in music -- rock, glam, New Wave, whatever.

    Duran Duran is a close second.

    Sad to see Pseudo Echo & Alphaville not included.

    SixxShooter- couldn't agree with you more. Depeche Mode was in a league of their own with their own new wave sound. Such a unique pop band with their dark beats when every other pop band was trying to sound as happy as possible.

    I think Depeche Mode & Gary Numan were by far the better of the New Wave bands & maybe Human League

    i also love SSQ, they only had one album but it is so damn catchy!

    I didnt go with any of them. I liked and still like Blondie.

    A close second for me at least back in the 80s was Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
