uriah heep could easily be one of the best bands ever. how can you go wrong with songs like the hanging tree, easy livin, and echoes in the dark

Leathur, you met Gary? What's he like? Nice guy? I bet he is!
BTW: how tall are you, actually?

deep purple- in rock, made in japan, blackmore ruled on that as well as the rest of the band! he did some killer stuff with dio in rainbow too! led zeppelin for sure especially their first two albums. i got to see 'em in '77 and they ruled! i like foreigner's first two records, after that, i think they toned their sound down too much. as for the rest of the other bands, i liked some of their songs, and i can appreciate them, but it's not something i always listen to.

"well that was a first. ive never heard anyone say they're sick of those bands"

I never cared for Led Zepplin. Overplayed. After a while, the kids on the bus with their Led Zep tapes gave me a headache and I learned to just tune it out.

He's still good looking, what do you mean? He sings beautifully, too.

I love Deep Purple....especially the "Machine Head" album, which I think I played until I wore it out.

Leathur: I'm 5'2" which gives you a grand ol' inch over me! My son calls me "stubby". But he's well over 6 feet tall. Gary Cherone? He's only 5'3"? I had no idea. That's kinda cool that's he's not a real big guy. He has such an amazing voice. I love it when he sings.

Just be glad you don't have a smart-ass kid who refers to you as "stubby" I wish I was taller. I can't ever reach anything.

Im 5'9 too. well i dont really tower over many people BUT the point i was trying to make is you gotta be happy youre tall. trust me there are a WHOLE lotta people that would kill to be your height. its a blessing in disguise. and besides, most men actually like really tall women.
