I like Kashmir a bit from Zepplin..and I liked the sounds Plant/Page added when they did the "Unledded" stuff, didgeridoos and stuff.
But in general, I got really sick of all these bands in the 80s.

Have you ever checked out the Sweet or Marc Bolan (T-Rex) - glam rock icons from the '70s glam era?

The Doors were cool. Did you see the movie where Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison? Awesome performance. I didn't think anyone could do Jim Morrison but I was mistaken.

rush - great instrumentals, not a fan of the singer, don't listen to them much
foreigner - know one song by them and love it
journey - great band, don't listen to them enough
zeppelin - have a couple good songs but mostly bore me to death
uriah heep - never heard of them
deep purple - Love, love, love like crazy
boston - Great band, not really my style
eagles - also good, don't listen to them
heart - I love the guitar riff from "Barracuda", but aside from that I don't have any of their stuff
doors - a few good songs that really suit them, otherwise only good on drugs

Out of those bands,this stands out.

I love Journey's HARDEST stuff.Not into the ballads.I used to tape them on King Biscuit Flour Hour.(I apologize for that, now I truly respect copyrights) And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boston.BTW Brad Delp committed suicide over 2 months ago.What a waste.I know because he offed himself shortly before my cat died

Deep Purple....who amongst us hasn't learned beginning guitar riffs such as the Smoke On The Water intro..

I like Hearts HARD stuff.The ballads....not so much.

Damn right,GLAMJAM.... the DOORS made great music to do drugs to

The EAGLES recorded maybe ONE song I really like, "Victim of Love".Not too into the soft stuff.

I know, Brad Delp had one hell of a voice. I think he's probably the singer with the highest vocal range ever. I am really disappointed when there was a tribute concert for him and I didn't get to go. I would have loved that. Especially because Gary Cherone sang at it...one of my favorite singers in the world.
