Do you give into the hype and play only the traditional songs during the holidays, or is it a rock fest like my household? I don't mind some Yule music, some is very well thought out, but I can not handle an entire month in Dec. of nothing but that type of music. I have to switch it up abit. And I have noticed more and more people for Oct. are doing new age type music for the spooky music on Halloween. Anyone else?

We usually don't listen to Christmas music until Christmas day. Then we let it play all day long along with letting "A Christmas Story" run back to back on TV. To me its just not Christmas day without my childhood Xmas songs playing all day long. Guess it just goes back to remembering my childhood.

I like to put on the cable TV music. Holiday music. I also watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" every year.

I like traditional Christmas stuff. Softer, more peaceful. I don't think I could handle a very glam Christmas.

The holidays are a time for rocking out. This year, Ratt and Poison were big on the list to coincide with their comebacks.

    Hope your holidays fucking rocked!

I hate most Christmas music! I've just been shopping and had it forced on me. As soon as I got home I grabbed the first CD I could lay my hands on (which happened to be the Cult's Sonic Temple) to drown out the lingering sound of Aled Jones's "Walking In The Air".

But on a lighter note there has been the odd occasion on Christmas day when I've played the likes of Wham's "Last Christmas", "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney and "Christmas Wrapping" by the waitresses.

Last year I got an original issue of Lion's rare "Dangerous Attraction" on CD thanks to our lass so that was played to death all Chirstmas day.
