Okay...2 weeks since I posted my last quote and not one guess posted...
It is a little tough I guess.

This one has two possible answers: Mark Free or Marcie Free!
Mark Free was the the lead singer of the bands Signal, Unruly Child and most notably King Kobra. But Mr. Free had the inner unruly child called gender dysphoria (he was a man, but, mentally, felt like a woman), and so he had... some work done and became Marcie Free in 1993.
