This is kinda childish, but I dont give a fuck. Besides movies and music, I'm a big Video Game dork. I still play old NES/SNES, GENESIS, and classic video games. I even collect old ps1 games which I play on my ps2 (I'm too fucken poor to afford a nexgen console  ) So, any fellow video game nerds? :?

Did you ever play Commander Keen? I'm totally addicted to it.
Also I never EVER grew out of the Pokemon games.

I still love the original Nintendo Entertainment System. I still go ape shit for that thing, I'll admit it is purely nostalgia but playing the original is still so much fun. I go into thrift shops and always keep my eye open for Nintendo games, no matter how lame they are. I have the gun for duck hunter and the glove! I also collect old Nintendo power magazines and have game genie. I am a complete retro nerd, I am also going about trying to purchase a Super Nintendo, that machine had some awesome games. Still two of my fave Nintendo games are Donkey Kong and Bubble Bobble! With you there Dorkstarmy!

As much as I love the oldschool games and all, I've become such a slave to Pokemon that I have to keep upgrading so as to be able to play the new ones as they come out.

You can still download Donkey Kong and similar games online. I know my mate has. You need to use torrents though and they confuse me. 8O

I'm addicted to the old school video games. If I walk into a joint and they have Ms. Pacman, Centipede, Moon Walk, or Space Invaders, I am there all night. Has anyone every been to an arcade that had all of the classics?

I think the first game I ever played was Pong in the 70s. I love retro gaming, I worked in the UK games industry in the 90s. My favourite has got to be the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. I still play Bomb Jack and Renegade.

Here's a pic of some of my old stuff:

    Retro

    Top to bottom:

    Commodore Amiga A500
    Sony Playstation 1
    Super Nintendo
    Sega Mega-CD
    Nintendo Gameboy Color
    Atari 2600 VCS

I've still got my old Amstrad TS-46 from 1986, It's twin tape deck was ace for coping my games. Now That's What I Call Music 8 and the Hits Albums 1 to 5 are still in the cabinet. The only glam vinyl I still own is a picture disc of Phantom Blue's debut album and Roxx Gang's "Scratch My Back" limited single...

Anyway, here's a list (In no order) of my top 10 retro games ever:

    Bomb Jack (Spectrum)
    Cybernoid (Spectrum)
    Ranarama (Spectrum)
    Renegade (Spectrum)
    Puggsy (Mega-Drive)
    Thunder Force IV (Mega-Drive)
    Ordyn (Coin-Op)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past (SNES)
    Pitfall II (Atari 2600)
    James Pond (Amiga)

My mother never bought me a game system as a kid ("it'll rot your brain..."). Which is most likely the reason I'm into video games as an adult.

When my kids were babies I spent a lot of time at home on the weekends. Playstation saved me from going insane with boredom!

    My favorite games:

    "Resident Evil" series
    "Tenchu" series
"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City & San Andreas"
"Manhunt"(LOVE the violence in that one!)
"The Warriors" & "Scarface" (The ONLY movies-turned-games that were worth a shit in my opinion.)
"Guitar Hero: 1, 2 & Rocks The 80s" only. After those, it just lost something...But I still love the first 3! My daughter and I played ALL the time! It's how she discovered classics like "I Love Rock & Roll", "Bark At The Moon", "18 & Life", "Electric Eye" 8)
