This post is for Drummers, the dude that 'Hangs' around with the band - LOL.

Guitar Hero has had a negative reaction from some of the members on this forum but I personally have always loved drumming to my favourite songs, that's how I started playing in the first place!

So check this out if you wanna have some fun with your electric kit:

OK, so it is Iron Maiden but you get the idea. It's a FREE game that allows you to use any midi based drum kit on your PC. Developed for the Yahama drum series, I'm lucky as I have a DTXPRESS III.

You can download songs for Motley Crue, AC/DC and the Cult.

    http://www.gdamania.net

Goto the files section and look in Simulators, accessories, skins etc. DTXMania067b.zip is the best version.

    Here are some tips:

    1) Use the enter, escape and cursor keys to navigate the software.
    2) The menus are in english but the help is in Japanesse.
    3) You need a good soundcard for the responce time.
    4) Put the song files anywhere in the program directoy.
    5) Under option "Drums", select the drums you want to play.
    6) Under option "common", select dark mode for simple view.
    7) Try "She Sells Sanctuary" to practice with.

Here is a **MUST SEE** video of a mad dude playing guitar hero:

Have fun and let me know how you get on...
